John Westerfield
As the chief executive officer of Mitsui Fudosan America (MFA), John Westerfield oversees North American business operations for the US subsidiary of the largest real estate investment and development company in Japan. Before assuming executive control of MFA in 2015, he served nearly four years as the senior advisor to the organization’s board of directors. John Westerfield also has served tenures as managing director of the New York City limited liability company Braddock Capital Management and the international financial services corporation Morgan Stanley.
Outside of the professional arena, John Westerfield joins with his wife to support multiple New York City educational institutions and programs, including the Skills USA program at Roosevelt High School in Yonkers. He also sits on the investment committees of both the Lawrence Hospital and the Reformed Church of Bronxville and contributes to Harlem Children's Zone and Babies & Children's Hospital of New York. In his free time, Mr. Westerfield enjoys golfing, skiing, fishing, and shooting sporting clays.
